About Us
shorttermaccommodation.net.au is an independent service that connects NDIS participants, families and support coordinators with registered short term accommodation (STA) and respite providers who may have a stay that suits. It's free to use, and we're not a provider or part of the NDIS.
Why We Started
Once STA is in a plan, finding a provider with the right house, the right support and room on the right dates often means ringing around. We do that part. You tell us what's needed once, and we pass it to a registered provider who may have a stay that suits.
We also write plain-English guides to how STA works, from who can get it to how many days and what it costs. Every guide is checked against the NDIA's own guideline and the NDIS Pricing Schedule, and links to them.
Who We Are
shorttermaccommodation.net.au is run by a small team with a background in digital services and in working with NDIS providers.
How We're Paid
Providers pay us for introductions. That's what keeps the service free for you. It doesn't change the NDIS price limits providers have to work within. More on how it works.
